Lara is a three year varsity starter for the Weddington Warriors Soccer Team.  She is also a member of Matthews USA Premier Team.  Lara is very successful in the classroom, carrying a 4.4 grade point average.

Two on one breakaway, you have the ball, do you shoot or pass?
“It really depends on the defender.  If she is going for the ball, I would definitely lay it off.  If the defender was hesitant then I'd go for the goal.”

What was your “One Shining Moment?”  (
“I don’t really have a one shining moment, but I think making it to the 4A State Championship game was one of the greatest things I’ve been able to be apart of, and even though we did not win, I will remember that game forever.”

You are the winner of the $100,000 drawing, what are you going to do with all that money?
“I would love to buy a new wardrobe, I’d save some for my future, and I'd put a little into my college funds for my dad.”

You can only put one song on your IPOD, what is it?
“Lifetime” by Better than Ezra”

Any superstitions?
“I try to stay away from them because I know they will just stress me out. “

Favorite Charity?
 “Make a Wish Foundation/ March Forth With Hope.”

Favorite restaurant in the world?
“Chili’s”

A day at the beach or a championship soccer game?  What do you choose?
“I love the beach, but I would choose the championship soccer game just because it’s an awesome feeling to know you made it so far.”
